About Finesse Catering

In the beginning…

David Coates (or iron chef as he is now known) started Finesse Catering in 2006 and built up a wonderful thriving business in Wedding & Event catering. Dave had been the HeadChef at Stiwdio3 cafe, Cardigan, and when he said that he wanted to sell the business in order to pursue his fitness and nutrition career, an opportunity came up that couldn’t be missed!

In 2022 Suzi Park and Jess Owen bought the business from Dave.

That year, Dave carried on all of the cheffing throughout the season….. and what a season it was! Suzi and Jess had a ‘baptism of fire’ but are still here to tell the tale.

Gareth Jarvis, chef, joined the team in November 2022 and has been creating and cooking his incredible food for us since then. Gareth has 25 years of cheffing experience having worked as a self-employed chef for 6 years, before moving to Wales in 2022, where he luckily saw that we were looking for a new chef.

So, when we got to 2024 things had changed a bit. Suzi decided to give up her time at Stiwdio3 cafe and Jess wanted to spend more time putting her effort in there, so has she decided to leave Finesse Catering.

Armed with all of the knowledge she has gained in Hospitality over that past 6 years, Suzi with her chef Gareth and her amazing Front of House team, are excited to design and deliver wonderful food for your wedding or event.

We have a wonderful tight and professional Front of House team, organised and run by Eirlys.
